Harvest Festivals

We are very grateful for the collections schools and other organisations arrange for us at Harvest time each year. They are vital to the continued operation of the Foodbank.

Food Needs

We have created an A4 poster listing the types of food that we need - click here to download a copy.  Please feel free to use this poster in your publicity for your Harvest event.

Please refer to this or our poster if you want to ask for particular items for people to donate or ask them to take a look themselves.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot take perishable food, out-of-date food, alcohol, medicines, or nappies.

 

Donations

 

  • Donations need to be delivered to the Foodbank Hub (the door of which is just past the west side of St Matthew’s Church), preferably on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between 12noon and 1.30pm

  • Large donations must be booked in for delivery so that we can manage the number of people arriving at key times – please contact us to do this.
